Partner FAQs

How many people can your caravans accommodate?

There is a wide range of caravans with varied sleeping capacities to choose from. So, if you’re just a family of two, or a group of 10 friends, we got you covered.

What facilities can we expect to find in the caravan?

Your caravan comes equipped with air-conditioners powered by electricity from the engine. There is also an external power supply, generators, invertors or battery back-ups that last for 3 to 4 hours. There is fresh water provided for cooking and bathing with waste tanks that take care of cooking and other waste disposal. To keep you extra comfy, the caravan comes with sleeping beds, cushions, blankets, quilts and an outdoor awning too. There is also a TV, home theatre, Wi-fi, and GPS to keep you connected. There is a rear parking camera for added security.

Do your caravans come with a kitchen?

Yes, they do. Our caravan kitchens are well-equipped for cooking too. You can expect the kitchen to come with an oven, induction gas for cooking, refrigerator, dinner set, cutlery, and utensils for cooking, serving and eating.

Are there toilet or washroom facilities in the caravan?

You can expect a fully-functional bathroom with hot water facilities. It’s outfitted with a commode, geyser, wash basin, shower area, and exhaust fans.

What do I get when I book a caravan?

After booking your caravan, you will be provided with a driver (additionally a helper in some caravans). Or you can also opt in for a self-drive option if available.

How do you manage the caravan upkeep and hygiene?

To keep our caravans clean, we wait one day between bookings before sending them out for a wash and basic servicing. We also clean all of the places inside and outside the vehicles before handing them over to you.

What if travellers misuse the caravans?

In case of misuse of caravan facilities by guests, their account may be deactivated during a review of accounts. Account reviews are a part of an effort to uphold our community standards, terms of service, and to foster mutual trust. Their account may also be deactivated or suspended as a result of an issue reported to our customer services team. Additionally, the deposit amount is liable for deduction to recover cost.

Can we get the caravan outside of the base location? If so, will there be any additional charges?

Yes, you can get a pick-up and drop-off service outside of the caravan’s base site. In fact, the caravans can be sent anywhere in India at your request. In such instances, the rental starts as soon as caravan leaves the garage, plus fuel, state taxes, and toll taxes. The same would apply when the vans return to the base location.

Do you have fixed routes or can we go anywhere we want?

You can take the Caravans to any place you like. What’s more, we will help you with suggestions of tried and tested sites to stop and explore. Our section on Caravan Holidays has curated circuits that you may want to try out.

Where do the driver and the helper sleep?

Our drivers sleep in the tent provided with the vehicle or at the camp sites. This is done to ensure privacy for everyone.

Can the caravan be taken outside of Maharashtra?

Of course, it can be! However, customers must procure temporary permits at the RTO office near the state border while crossing over. All our caravans right now are running on Maharashtra state permits.

Is it cost-effective to holiday in a caravan?

Yes, it is if they are used to their maximum potential. Instead of booking a separate car as well as a place to stay, why not simply hire a caravan? Your wallet will thank you for it. So, you get an all-in-one experience of holidaying while traveling, with the added fun and activities to be had at the caravan parks.

Are the caravans safe for toddlers or babies?

Yes, our Caravans are safe for toddlers. However, we advice you take care of them while the vehicle is on the move. Also, we strongly recommend that you carry your own baby seat.

Any do’s and don’ts for your caravan holiday?

Sure, here you go:

  • Don’t stay inside all day
  • Make sure all cupboards or refrigerator doors are closed before moving
  • Avoid parking on a slope
  • Play music at minimum volume
  • Secure everything before moving
  • Avoid traveling through cities during rush hour

Caravan Park

Where can we park our caravan while on a trip?

You can halt and park just about anywhere you like (permitted by government). In addition to established caravan parks, camping sites, homestays, hotels, and resorts that we have partnered with, there are government parking spaces that can accommodate your caravan on their premises too – if you don’t like going off the beaten path. Or, you could simply ask our caretaker-cum-drivers who will gladly help you find a safe place to park.

What to expect at a caravan park?

You can book a tent, campsite, or a halting station.

As safety is still a major concern in India, how do you ensure your caravan parks are safe for travelers?

In order to deal with safety concerns, our caretaker-cum-driver first reviews the parking sites and camping areas, before halting. In places that are not designated parking sites, our caretaker-cum-driver checks with locals in the area before parking the van overnight. Moreover, we partner with established homestays, camping areas, hostels, and resorts to deliver that extra perimeter of security. There is also an efficient GPS system in our caravans with an emergency SOS button for added security. With in-car dining arrangements and washrooms, you and your family don’t have to worry about cooking or eating outside the caravan.

What is covered in a Day pass?

Day pass is a 24 hours permit to a caravan park covering your Caravan parking, electricity supply for Caravan electronics to run, drinking water refilling and dump disposal station.
