This Select Holiday starts from Mumbai takes you to Jawhar, Trimbakeshwar, Vaitarna and  ends at Mumbai. This will be a trip of 3 days and 2 nights.

Day 1: Mumbai to Jawhar

  • Your caravan will arrive with the driver at your home. After settling in, get ready for an exciting Select Holiday. There will be plenty of clicks for the ‘gram, so keep your phones at the ready.
  • With a driving distance of 135 kms, it takes just 3 hours from Mumbai to Jawar

There’ll be so much to do and see between Mumbai to Jawar, here are a few stops to choose from:

  • Rangaon Beach: you’ll find sandy shores with fishermen bringing in their catch of the day. Or you could catch the breath-taking sunrise or sunset at the beach.
  • Tunganeshwar Temple: experience the grandeur of nature, crowned by a temple of Lord Shiva on the top of the mountain.
  • Tunganeshwar Wild Life Sanctuary: a place full of ancient trees and hidden trails, here you’ll find the treetops full of birdsong.
  • Chinchoti waterfall: with a thundering tiered waterfall, this is spectacular place to visit during the monsoon. Though be warned, the waterfall current is very strong. Wildlife has been spotted in this zone. So only attempt this if you are an experienced trekker.
  • Vandri River: as you get closer to Vasai and Virar, you’ll find Vandri Dam, an excellent scenic pitstop and perfect for camping. In the monsoons, you’ll even find waterfalls.
  • Pilucha Dhabdhaba: you’ll find a waterfall in a quaint little spot of Vikramgad. The gushing crystal clear water freefalling from the mountains is quite a sight to see. The waterfall is in its prime during monsoons.

Your Caravan Park for Day 1 – “The Enchanted Forest:

Day 2: Jawahar to Trimbakeshwar

Your caravan and the diver will be ready to take you from Jawahar to Trimbakeshwar. It will be a 60-kilometre drive of 1.5 hours

You can choose from ample options to visit on the way to Trimbakeshwar:

  • Dabhosa: as one of the very few perennial waterfalls that flow in every season, it is one of the highest waterfalls in Maharashtra. This waterfall cascades into a crater lake. You’ll find trekkers rappelling up the mountain or kayaking through the rapids.
  • Anjaneri Fort: situated in the Nasik-Trimbakeshwar Mountain range, it’s considered to be the birthplace of God Hanuman. It is a famous monsoon trekking spot.
  • Dugarwadi waterfall: this is 30 kilometres from Nashik on the Trimbakeshwar road and 2 kilometres from the Jawhaar road. If you’re visiting this area during the monsoons, be cautious as the water level suddenly rises.
  • Brahmagiri Hill: Go on a trek to the top of the Brahmagiri mountains with 750 steps and enjoy the stunning views of waterfalls during the monsoons.
  • Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga: It is dedicated to the God Shiva and is one of the twelve jyotirlingas. The extraordinary feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is its three faces embodying Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Rudra.
  • Shri Gajanan Vatika, Trimbakeshwar: surrounded by foliage and mountains, you’ll find a temple made of white marble – perfect for meditation with evening bhajans.
  • Tringalwadi Fort: Situated at an elevation of 3000 feet, the top of the fort looks like a turban.
  • Vihigaon Waterfall: the perfect place to try your hand at water rappelling and other water sports. Vipassana International Academy: Vipassana, the ancient technique of meditation is taught here.

Your Caravan Park for Day 2 – “A Hillside Adventure”: 

Day 3: Trimbakeshwar – Mumbai.

Your caravan and the diver will be ready to take you from your campsite to Mumbai. It will be a 141-kilometre drive of approximately 4 hours.

You’ll have so many places to see on your eventful drive from Suryamal to Mumbai

  • Vaitarna Dam: you’ll find the scenic Vaitarna Dam with some magnificent western ghats in the background – the perfect picnic spot.
  • Tansa Lake: Situated on Wada, Shahapur Road. The Tansa lake is an artificial lake with mesmerizing view

And the journey ends in Mumbai, with lots of memorable memories to cherish for lifetime.
